WHAT IS ELECTRO-ACUPUNCTURE?
Electro Dermal Screening (EDS) or Electroacupuncture According to Voll (EAV) is an innovative testing method that has been used for over 60 years. It is widely accepted throughout Europe by over 100,000 medical practitioners and is gaining acceptance in the United States.
EDS or EAV is based on the ancient Chinese medical theory that improper energy flow through the acupuncture meridians causes "dis-eases" of the corresponding organs and systems associated with those meridians. This energetic system is a network of communication pathways in touch with even the smallest corner of your body. By indirectly measuring this energetic system, EDS can evaluate the functional condition and general health of the entire body, including determining the presence or absence of parasites, bacteria, fungi, viruses, and toxins.
Measurements are taken from the hands indicating the energy flow meridians. Low readings indicate a degenerative state, while high readings indicate over activity or inflammation.
Once readings have been taken, a course of action is advised to help balance the energy in the tissue, organs or the meridian system(s).
Electro-Dermal Screening is able to screen for:
Abnormal energy levels in the meridians of the body associated with the organs of the body.
Problems with the mouth (e.g. energy problems due to cavitation, fillings, and root canal, etc.)
Toxins (e.g., chemicals, food additives, pesticides, and metals such as aluminum and lead), microbes and various parasites that are toxic to the body.
Mineral, vitamin, and hormone imbalances
Food intolerances and sensitivities by using energy profiles stored in the computer database or by touching a bottle of any substance with the hand.
The EDS is a highly advanced and scientific method of analyzing the energy in the body, based on the initial EAV work done by Dr. Reinhold Voll.
WHO WAS REINHARD VOLL?
Reinhard Voll was a German medical doctor who was studying the Chinese acupuncture meridian system in the 1940s.
He reasoned that if the theory of acupuncture was correct and that the channels of energy that ran through the body, surfacing at certain points on the body, that there should be a way to measure the energy.
Dr. Voll constructed an instrument that could measure the electrical conductivity of the acupuncture points on the skin. This instrument is the prototype of the many different EDS machines on the market today. Dr. Voll later went on to establish the German Institute for Electro-Acupuncture.
